No clue how much Reagan slept last night. She was still awake making some noises when we went to bed and then this morning I woke up at 5am and found her wide awake and kicking around. She was content, a little kooky, but content. I moved her to her chair and went back to bed for a bit. I don't think she ever dozed back off. She continue to get more and more kooky as the morning went on. She had PT at 11am and while she tolerated it, she clearly was uncomfortable in certain positions. The vocalizations and laughs increased and she just seemed to be very much on edge. We called off OT and eventually had to give her oxycodone. It seemed to help for maybe 30min or so and then the crazy was back. A dose of clonidine finally helped her to settle down. She wasn't a fan of me talking to the nurse (I don't know if it was us talking or just me talking that she didn't like). When she dozed back off again, she was very sound sensitive and kept jolting awake with even the tiniest of noises! She woke back up right at 6pm as the night nurse got here. I was very worried about how she was going to do, but apparently Megan the night nurse is apparently a Reagan whisperer and Reagan was perfect for her! She held her and read her books and Reagan was as calm and content as she's been all day! It was awesome. She eventually dozed off on her wedge on the floor. Sweet girl. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
