Happy 4th!

Last night was another restless one for my girl. I was up multiple times with her. She just couldn't seem to stay asleep. I was slightly worried about what this might mean for her day today, but thankfully she woke up happy again! We had plans to go to my step sister's neighborhood parade with them so we started loading everyone up around 10:20am. We drove over there and then Ryan rode his bike and Reagan's nurse pushed her in her chair and my nieces and brother in law all rollerbladed! We walked a mile downhill through her neighborhood and then took a break at the clubhouse (and Ryan checked out the firetruck) and then headed back uphill! It was a bit hot, but everyone did surprisingly well. That is, once Ryan got over his initial fit of wanting to go upstairs to play with toys (instead of going to the parade). A lollipop someone threw out saved the day! The rest of the day we just took it easy. Mike and Ryan went swimming in the heat of the day. Ryan is happy to swim anytime! Tonight Mike made steaks and then we watched fireworks from our culdesac! It was a great day.
